I normally dont like posting new music without giving you guys something to watch or a place to purchase the album. But I think this band is fantastic and can’t stop playing their new album.
Review:
Once again, the summer of 2009 will definitely go to all of the synth/electro bands and singers. The newest trio to hit the scene is the Russian band Mechnical Apfelsine. Their debut album”Space Without End” is one of much buzz on indie blogs and websites, hailing the band as “the new Presets” and very similar to the AFI protegee Blaqk Audio. The albums opening track “New Day” is very reminiscent to “This Boy’s In Love” or “Stiff Kittens”, mainly due to the front man’s deep dark vocals and synth beats. Similar to both of the other bands albums, Mechanical Apfelsine’s album does not disappoint. “Space Without End” is filled with dark beats, synth driven melodies, and catchy hooks. The albums highlights are “Seven Sins”, the haunting “We Can Be Angels”, and the absolute standout track, “Serial Lover”. If you are a fan of either “The Presets” or “Blaqk Audio”, “Space Without End” is definitely worth a listen and will quickly become one of the newest bands to watch.
